Wiki Backend
A community platform backend for tracking shared tasks and learning progress, using PostgreSQL, SQLx, and WebSockets for live updates.
Overview
Wiki was built for a 'learning in public' community where members share tasks and progress updates. Instead of polling the server for changes, the backend pairs PostgreSQL storage with WebSocket rooms so task updates appear immediately for everyone connected.
How it works

Compile-time checked SQL with SQLx
Using SQLx allows queries to be checked against the PostgreSQL schema at compile time, catching column or type mismatches before deployment.
Room-based WebSocket broadcasts
When a user updates a task over HTTP or WebSocket, the server commits the change to Postgres and broadcasts the event to active connections in that room.
Simple connection pooling
Shared database connection pools keep request latency steady when multiple clients load feeds and update tasks at the same time.
